Online Booking

To reduce your time spent waiting on the phone, we have now launched the Pomelo online booking platform!

Please read the following information before booking your online appointment: 

1. Online booking is available only for registered patients of Elida Medical Centre. Appointments can only be scheduled with your primary care provider (family doctor). 

2. You can only have one family doctor appointment per day under MSP. Please ensure your BC MSP coverage is valid on the day of your appointment, or you may be asked to reschedule. 

3. Please call our clinic directly at (236) 235-0605 to book the following appointments:

  • All types of appointment with our registered nurse (e.g. Papsmear exam, pelvic exam, prenatal care, newborn healthcare, childhood immunizations, injections, wound care, ear flushing, liquid nitrogen, etc.) 

  • Driver's Medical Exam 

4. While making an appointment, please briefly specify your reason for booking (e.g. prescription renewal, test results review, ear concerns, etc.). For each visit, please focus on your primary concern to ensure adequate time to address your concern. 

  • For in-person appointments, please arrive on time with your BC Health Care Card for check-in. Patients who arrived earlier than the appointment time have to follow the original scheduled time. Clinic may not be able to accommodate early arrival. 

  • For telephone appointments, please indicate the best phone number to reach you. Please expect the call from your doctor within 1 hour of your scheduled time. Patients are recommended to remain in a quiet and private area free of distractions. Do not schedule a phone appointment during work hours or while commuting. 

  • For ICBC or WorkSafeBC (WCB) appointments, please indicate your injury claim number and date of accident under reason for booking. 

5. Sending in photo/forms for your appointment

If you need to submit photos or forms for your appointment, please contact our office at (236) 235-0605 for instructions. 

6. Please note that not all the medical services are covered by MSP. Fee will be applied for form completion and doctor's note. Our front desk staff will provide details following your appointment. 

7. Appointments cancellation/Rescheduling

We understand that unexpected situations may arise. Appointments made online can be canceled through your POMELO patient portal 24 hours in advance. We do NOT accept same-day cancellations. If you have any questions, please contact the clinic at (236) 235-0605 for assistance.

Depending on the circumstances, appointments missed without 24 hours notice may be subject to a fee to compensate for the time and resources allotted to you.

Step 1: Enter the patient portal

Enter your legal full name (as it appears on your Care Card), personal health number, date of birth, and email address, then click Submit.

Step 2: How to Book an Appointment?

  • Click "Book an Appointment'' 

    • You may only book an appointment with your registered Family Physician.

  • Select your appointment type (e.g., In-person Visit, Phone Consultation, WorkSafeBC, or ICBC)

  • Choose a convenient time slot and provide a brief reason for your visit.
